Nick Roberts Costides could barely drive a car when he started his media career as a radio announcer in 1986. Today he is Vice President of Marketing and Branding for some of the top media brands in the country. Nick develops and implements the marketing strategies for all Cox Media Group Ohio brands including WHIO AM/FM, K99.1 FM, Dayton Daily News, Cox Digital Marketing and the #1 CBS Affiliate in the country, WHIO-TV.
Prior to his current role, Nick was in charge of the news/talk and sports radio format stations for Cox Media nationwide, including Marconi award winning WSB AM-FM in Atlanta, earning him the 2009 America’s Top Radio Programmer Award from Radio Inc. magazine. Nick was an early pioneer in the digital industry as co-founder of the startup USA Access in 1996 selling consumer internet service, business server space, domain registration and SEO.
Nick is very involved in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees for Children’s Hospital of Dayton Foundation, as well as the Board of Directors for the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce. He loves spending time with family, being outdoors and gardening, as well as following tech startups and internet news.
